led by fools
begin to believe the propaganda of foolishness
the lies swinging in wide arcs, repeating
until they are recognized as the truth
where the truth is simply what we all know
and since we all know it, it must be fact
so the fool at the top is the oracle
the dogs that lick his boots are the wise
their slow violence meted out to the masses
becomes grace
and you, the questioner of the righteous
are the true fool
the unbearable outcast
loser of the fight before it starts.
